CAMBRIDGE CHECKPOINT

Cambridge Secondary 1 Curriculum would be used as a standalone curriculum at ISA prescribed by CIE - to develop learners’ skills and confidence in English, Mathematics and Science. It offers a curriculum framework for educational success for learners, with an optional testing structure called as Cambridge Checkpoint Tests at the end of Cambridge Secondary 1. These tests are standardised, set and marked by CIE and provide schools with an external international benchmark for student performance. Each student receives a ‘Statement of Achievement’ from CIE which gives an indication of their academic progress during the three year programme of Cambridge Secondary 1.

At ISA, Standards 6 – 8 would be following the prescribed curriculum frameworks for English, Mathematics, Science and English as a second language option by CIE. For details you can log in to www.cie.org.uk. Besides these subjects the students would be educated in Social Sciences, ICT, Foreign Language (Hindi, French, Spanish and Korean), Drama, Art and Craft, Music, Physical Education and Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE).
